A little more specifics, please

I followed the instructions diligently and when my mixture became that nice amber color, I let it cool in the pot. However, just as you mentioned that if it's not heated long enough it will not solidify enough, mine did exactly that. How long should it be heated for after it turns amber? I used mmy mixture warmed with cloth strips...it worked but not as well as i'd like and i'd rather do the cold paste version.

Yes, it's not completely done once it turns amber. Maybe I should revise the article to clarify that a bit. It still needs to cook for oh... at least 5 more minutes. The best measure of 'done-ness' is the cooked lemon smell. Give it another shot and let me know how it works out!
