Firm ball stage got sugar crystals in it

Hey, I've tried to do the cold water test, when it reaches the firm ball stage I realize it still got some unsolved sugar crystal in it. Lots! If I heated it more the sugar crystal melts but the sugaring paste got too sticky or even got too hard to use. I want to remove the hair, not scrubbing it..
Anybody knows why?
