Halving the recipe

Hi, I was wondering if sugaring would work if i halve recipe? I've had some bad experiences with waxing, so I want to try it out cautiously first, just in case. Thank you.

The first time I tried this, I halved the ingredients, and it works fine as long as you watch it diligently to make sure you don't overcook it, which is easy to do.

You can't use the cooking times given here if you halve the recipe. I ended up with it going all the way to hard crack in about 15 minutes, and I hadn't been testing it earlier.

i havled the recipe and it all
worked out great. well, i've cooked
it and it was amber and all was good.
i'm letting it cool in a container now
i'll tell you how it works out when i'm
all finished! i've tried a waxing recipe
and it didn't work, so i tried this. (:
